About Containers
Made from 14-gauge CORTEN steel, shipping containers are built to travel the seven seas. This means they're made to withstand extreme cold and heat, along with the strength to withstand 175 mph winds, when anchored. The average wooden shed has wind resistance of about 80 mph.
We've sold over a thousand containers since 2020. We were there after Hurricane Ida supplying permanent and temporary storage to those in need. We also work with insurance companies to supply relief storage after other natural disasters.
Shipping containers serve as a more durable alternative to a traditional wooden shed. It is estimated that wooden sheds have an average lifespan of about 20 years while shipping containers can last between 35 to 40 years with proper upkeep, almost twice as long!
